These were created to be used by young kids aged 3+ - but they are perfect for all ages. Sometimes children have trouble priming/pumping the regular paint pens, so with these markers they can still experience the joy of paint pens and creating art on all surfaces.

The difference between these acrylic markers and the regular paint pen is that you don't have to pump them to activate the paint. They look and feel just like a texta or marker - but with acrylic paint in them!
