Shipping policy

 

Please note: It is very difficult  to make changes, or cancel orders once made. Please check all details carefully prior to paying for your order at checkout. See more information below.

  • Australian, USA and Canadian taxes and duties are included for orders shipped in/to those countries.
  • Taxes and duties may be payable upon import for other countries.
  • Orders are dispatched within 1-2 business days, unless pre-order items or delays are stated on cart page/product page.
  • Tracking updates are sent via email. If you haven't received one within 3 business days of placing your order, please check your junk email folder prior to contacting us.
  • Packaged in eco-friendly recyclable packaging - no plastic!
  • Are sent with 'authority to leave' (ATL) If you need to sign for your parcel, please notify us PRIOR to placing an order.
  • Are NOT sent with any extra insurance. We do this to keep our shipping costs as low as possible for our customers. If you would like shipping protection against loss or theft for your order, you can purchase it here
  • Are sent with gratitude 💚 Thank you for supporting a small business.

Standard shipping is a flat rate of $10 and free over $140. 
Express Shipping is calculated by weight and starts at $12 for small items to major cities. Free shipping does not apply to Express shipping.

USA SHIPPING
Orders dispatched from Utah, USA.
Taxes are included with shipping price. 
Standard shipping rate is $9USD and free for orders over $155USD.
Express shipping is calculated by weight and will be sent with FedEx Overnight Express service. 

CANADIAN SHIPPING
Orders shipped from Utah, USA.
Taxes are included with shipping price.  
Standard shipping is $20CAN or free over $250CAN.
All taxes and duties are added at checkout for a smooth delivery. 

OTHER INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We are able to ship anywhere in the world however occasionally our postage partners cease shipping to certain locations for various reasons, such as uncertainty in the area.

For countries outside of Australia, USA and Canada shipping rates are based on weight. Postage rates are automatically calculated at checkout. All international parcels are sent using STANDARD international mail. If you require express shipping, please get in touch prior to placing your order.

PLEASE NOTE: Additional duties and taxes may be charged by your local government, please check prior to ordering. Your Wild Books is NOT responsible for any local government duties, extra taxes, or tariffs charged on delivery on your order unless explicitly shown/added at checkout.

SHIPPING TIMES
All orders are dispatched in 1-2 business days unless delays are stated on the cart page, and all products listed on the website as in stock are ready to send. Occasionally there will be items listed as pre-order items, which means customers can order prior to the time those items are available. Shipping dates for all pre-order items will be clearly stated in the product listing and is subject to change.

SHIPPING SERVICE

  • We ship our Australian orders exclusively with Australia Post.
  • In USA and Canada we use duties paid DHL service for standard shipping.
  • All orders are fully trackable, with tracking information provided at the time of shipment. Orders are also sent with 'Authority to Leave' as the default option. Please note that we accept no responsibility for parcels that are missing with Authority to Leave if our shipping partners have provided proof of delivery.
  • Occasionally parcel delivery times can be unpredictable when our shipping partners experience higher than usual demand, such as in November and December.
  • Please note international customs may delay delivery and we are unable to accept responsibility for any duties payable, customs fees and/or delays.

RTS  ITEMS (Return to sender ) 

  • If parcels are marked as not collected by the receivers domestic postal service, it is the recipient/customers responsibility to notify us and request order to be either resent or refunded following notification that the postal service has initiated a RTS action. In these circumstances, refund will be minus the original shipping charge, plus a further charge to the value of AUD$20 for costs associated with the return shipping. If you would like your items* resent, there will be the usual shipping charge for your order, plus a AUD$20 fee for the RTS action. 
    *Items out of stock at time of request will be refunded.

ORDER CANCELLATION

  •  Please choose carefully, our warehouse dispatches orders very quickly and order cancellation prior to dispatch cannot be guaranteed.
  • Our customer service team operates during business hours (Australian EST). We will contact you when we review your request and let you know if order cancellation has been possible. If your order is dispatched before it can be cancelled, you can initiate a Return To Sender (RTS) action for your parcel. Please read on for information regarding this process above.

PACKAGING
We exclusively use plastic free packaging, which is entirely recyclable.
