Refund policy
Return of received items for change of mind:
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, undamaged, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need to provide the order number as proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at hello@yourwildbooks.com and provide your order number, the product(s) you wish to return and the reason for the return.
Please Note: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and must be able to provide tracking details on request.
Where possible, please return items in the original carton/packaging. If this is not possible, please ensure packaging is an appropriate size for the items for return.
Refunds will not be issued until the returned items have arrived and been checked by our warehouse staff to ensure they are in new and undamaged condition. Please note it is the customers responsibility to ensure items are returned with sufficient fill/packed securely to avoid damage in transit.
Any refunds will be minus the original order shipping cost if applicable, plus a restocking fee of 10% of the value of items returned.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Order cancellation or orders sent RTS for non-collection:
*Please choose carefully, our warehouse dispatches orders very quickly and order cancellation prior to dispatch cannot be guaranteed.
Our customer service team operates during business hours (Australian EST). We will contact you when we review your request and let you know if order cancellation has been possible. If your order is dispatched before it can be cancelled, you can initiate a Return To Sender (RTS) action for your parcel. Please read on for information regarding this process below.
The original shipping label must be on the parcel and the box/satchel must be in fair, sealed, and undamaged condition. Please email us at hello@yourwildbooks.com to inform the date the RTS was initiated, along with your order number.
Once items have been accepted back to YWB, a refund will be provided minus the original shipping fee and an additional fee of AUD$20 or equivalent to cover return shipping and restocking of items.
If parcels are marked as not collected by the receivers domestic postal service, it is the recipient/customers responsibility to notify us and request the order to be either resent or refunded once the parcel is returned to us. If you would like your order refunded, it will be minus the original shipping charge if applicable, plus a further charge to the value of AUD$20 for costs associated with the return shipping/restocking of items.
If you would like your items resent, there will be the usual shipping charge for your order, plus a AUD$20 fee for the RTS action.

Damages and other issues:
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 5 business days if your feel the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and help trouble shoot to rectify the problem for you.
Exceptions / non-returnable items:
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. This includes clearance items, and items marked as 'seconds'. All sales of these items are final.

Exchanges:
Please contact us if you wish to exchange your item and we will do our best to assist you. Return of the item/s for exchange are at the customers expense. Depending on the size of the exchanged items to be posted back, and the location of the customer, there may be a small shipping fee charged to send exchanged items back to customers.
Please note: we can only offer exchanges to customers in the USA and Australia. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our other international customers.
European Union 14 day cooling off period:
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds:
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 5-10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund. Unfortunately shipping charges are non-refundable.
If more than 20 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at hello@yourwildbooks.com so we can check our records to ensure your items have reached us.
