Books + Tools Bundle

These books are loved by kids 3-12 years, but teens and adults will also enjoy the activities.

Younger children 3-7 years will need a bit more adult support (to tie knots, cut string, use basic tools, etc) but many of the projects can be adapted to suit various abilities and interests.

Children 8+ years should be able to do most of the activities independently of adult support (but just try to stop yourself from joining in - it's so fun!)

If your child is 2 years old, you can start with some of the activities in the Wild Imagination book and progress as their interest and ability develops.

The Wild Projects for Families book requires adult involvement due to the use of tools and more detailed project instructions.

Most of the projects use only nature and a few items you can find around your home, such as scissors, cardboard, glue, wool/yarn and elastic.

Some items you might not have at home include paint pens, clay, a hand drill and a whittling knife. You can find these in our online store.

The Wild Projects for Families book is the exception, as the activities in this particular book are making more substantial things such as a mud kitchen, swing and bird feeder which require the use of tools and materials you might not have at home already. The projects encourage the use of upcycled and second-hand materials to reduce the impact on the environment.

We ship orders on weekdays from our warehouse in Melbourne, Australia. All orders are dispatched within 2 business days, however this could extend during our peak season (any delays will be communicated at the top of this page).

Standard shipping within Australia takes 1-10 business days.

Shipping to the USA/Canada takes 4-12 business days.

Shipping to the rest of the world takes 4-30 business days.

All orders include tracking with estimated delivery times so you'll be able to follow the progress of your order.

We do everything we can to be kind to the environment. That includes printing locally in Australia so that we can keep a close eye on the ethics and environmental practices of our printer (who is a short 30mins drive from our office!).

We use FSC certified Australian paper and print with vegetable based inks.

Keeping our manufacturing local to our distribution means that there are fewer carbon miles, plus we get to support another family business dedicated to sustainably manufactured products!

We offer easy 30 day returns, so if you don't love the books, you're welcome to return them to us for a refund.
